CHARMIAN
Charmian gained a Cordon Bleu diploma at Tante Marie School of Cookery in Woking before going on to Manchester Metropolitan University to do a degree in Hotel and Catering Management. Over the next ten years she worked in different sectors of the restaurant industry including Mosimann's Party Service and Langan's Brasserie. She was also part of the opening team at Conran's Bluebird in the King's Road where she stayed for four years as one of the restaurant management team. Following her experience there she moved on to contract catering, and worked for Leith's Management as an area manager, supervising up to fourteen prestigious contracts in the City and West End, covering all aspects of entertaining from directors lunches to conference dining for several hundred people. She has also found time to gain the Wine and Spirit Education Trust Diploma of Wine, a two year course and the foundation to the Master of Wine.

Charmian is passionate about good food and wine. Her ambition in life has always been to have her own catering company and in 2001 she started catering for parties privately. As her reputation for fabulous canapés and value for money grew, so did her client list. In 2004 she set up Charmian Dadley Ltd., catering for both private and corporate clients who include Linley, Holland and Holland, Mappin & Webb, Guards Polo Club, Barclays Private Bank, Thomas Pink and Space NK.
